The first episodes of America’s Got Talent season 18 airs tonight, and longtime judge Heidi Klum is sure to bring her A-game in the fashion department. But TV isn’t the only place she struts her flares for fashion — she takes her model status worldwide.
Ahead of the NBC series’ premiere, the Project Runways alum traveled to France to attend the 2023 amfAR gala at the Cannes Film Festival. With her husband Tom Kaulitz at her side, Heidi showed up wearing a light green Georges Hobeika gown that instantly captured everyone’s attention. The avant-garde design featured a tiered cape that had ruffled feathers cascading down to the floor of the blue carpet. The unique accent didn’t stop there, as it also went across the top of the dress to create a fan-shaped neckline that defied what people may think of the silhouette.
But the standout moment of the piece is the mini dress portion, made from a sheer material that is pleated throughout. The attire also upgraded the traditional hemline, as the Making the Cut host wore a crisscross version that hit at the top of the thigh. More feathers adorn the front of the gown, making both distinct parts appear cohesive.
As Heidi always did, her accessories and makeup were on point alongside her extravagant gown. The German supermodel donned a pair of silver mules with a triangle toe to add a bit of sparkle to the monochromatic ensemble.
She parted her signature blonde hair down the middle, leaving her bangs and wispy framed pieces surrounding her face. The 49 year old also used bold black eyelashes to make her eyes pop, rosy blush and a neutral pink lipstick to top off her look.
When she posted a video collage from the event later on TikTok, AUG fans couldn’t help but be enamored by Heidi’s couture taste. “GREEN IS HER COLOR OMFG‼️‼️” one person wrote in the comments. “That dress is so pretty on [you] 😭 💕,” another added. “HEIDI’S DRESS IS SO BEAUTIFUL LIKE HER [WHAT],” a different fan raved.
Now, this was a memorable teaser of what her fashion might look like in the latest season of the talent competition show.
