The 2023 Met Gala, which honored the work and legacy of Karl Lagerfeld, presented a red carpet replete with vintage Chanel, wedding gowns (an homage to the late designer’s tradition of closing each Chanel couture show with an elaborate bridal look), tributes to Choupette , and design signatures like pearls, tweed and 3D flowers.
