David Yurman & Scarlett Johansson Support LESGC
Luxury jewelry label David Yurman enlisted actor and brand ambassador Scarlett Johansson to partner with the Lower Eastside Girls Club (LESGC). “From April 13 through June 30, 2023, 100% of the net profits of our pistachio green cable bracelets and 20% of the purchase price from sales of an assortment of designs hand-selected by Johansson will be donated to the Lower Eastside Girls Club, the press release said. The brand worked on the charitable collaboration last year, too, and raised over $300,000.
Cinq à Sept Hosted An Intimate Dinner
To celebrate its new flagship store opening (keep scrolling for further deets!), Cinq à Sept held an intimate dinner at The Nines, hosted by its founder Jane Siskin and stylist Beverly Nguyen. In addition to the hosts, the guest list included Martha Hunt, Chanel Iman, Charlotte Groeneveld, Michelle Li, and Brie Welch. Moreover, the evening featured a performance by singer Karen Elson, followed by a DJ set courtesy of Amber Valentine.
& Other Stories Collaborates With Sindiso Khumalo
Is your warm-weather wardrobe needing a few new playful, color-happy styles? Turn your attention to the season’s most joyful collection, courtesy of girl-favorite fashion retailer & Other Stories and Cape Town-based textile designer Sindiso Khumalo. “As an African designer, what truly matters to me is designing clothing that can highlight my African heritage and history and bring it to light in a contemporary setting,” Khumalo said in the press release. “The starting point for the collection was working with materials that were sourced in a more sustainable way. It’s essential for me to use more sustainable materials and to create garments that are going to be long-lasting.” The 17-piece assortment includes embroidered jackets, printed sarongs, and seashell-adorned bags.
Gucci Introduces First Stand-Alone Salon
Gucci has opened the doors to its first ever stand-alone salon on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. “For this inaugural GUCCI SALON, the décor and character of its location leads the creative approach: the salon echoes Hollywood’s heritage and resonance across the world, alongside echoes of the décor and philosophies of the first Los Angeles Gucci boutique, opened in 1968 on Rodeo Drive,” the press release said. Mango Releases A Maternity Collection
Mango has expanded its product offerings to include a maternity collection. Available to shop now, the assortment boasts denim garments, trousers, and dungarees in a multitude of different silhouettes, including wide-leg, flared, straight, and cargo.
APL Collaborates With Red Bull
APL Athletic Propulsion Lab partnered with Oracle Red Bull Racing to launch an exclusive sneaker. Available to purchase now, the shoe is a special edition of APL’s Zipline silhouette, rendered in Red Bull’s signature bold colors. “With a focus on intense research, innovation, superior design, and creativity that matches the Team’s own, APL will bring its proprietary materials in footwear to provide unparalleled comfort, athletic performance, and aesthetics to Oracle Red Bull Racing,” said the press release. . “The partnership will see APL join the charge as the Team’s athletic footwear partner as it fires up for its 2023 defense of both the Formula 1 Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships.”
Reebok x Milk Makeup Create A Sneaker
Renowned sportswear label Reebok and fan-favorite beauty brand Milk Makeup teamed up to create a limited-edition footwear collab. The collection, which is made from 100% vegan materials, includes five of Reebok’s new and heritage silhouettes. In addition to shoes, the lineup features a hoodie and bodysuit splashed with Milk’s signature branding.
Burberry Opens A Pop-Up
While you wait for Burberry’s 693 5th Avenue store to open in June 2023, you can take an initial peek inside the location during the label’s temporary rainwear pop-up. “Situated on the ground floor, the space will celebrate the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship with artisans from Burberry’s Castleford manufacturing site,” said the press release. The event will offer personalization services for your purchases, so you can customize your purchase trench coat, for example, with distinctive buttons, embroidery and unique patches.
Mejuri Teams Up With Outside For A Collab
Industry-favorite fine jewelry brand Mejuri and cool-girl fashion label Luar teamed up to launch an unforgettable accessories collaboration, which debuted at the latter’s Fall/Winter 2023 runway show during New York Fashion Week.
